The art and design industry, like everything else in the world, has always been built on top of it, developed or evolved into something else. While the world of design used to serve the kings or bourgeois of civilizations in the past, after the Industrial Revolution in the 1900s, the cost decreased with the production of raw materials more comfortably and in large numbers, so design and art were reduced to the public and spread to large masses. In this situation, the minimalism trend has begun to be seen in the design world, with functionality coming to the fore and simplification of designs. From electronic devices such as remotes and air conditioners to furniture such as chairs, the design world has rapidly progressed towards simplification.

Over time, as functionality found its place in every field, simplification became obsolete in our eyes and minds, neither the old elegance of simplicity nor the old importance of functionality remained. Now, a new search was started and an understanding that aimed to make people question and sometimes caused a feeling of excitement mixed with curiosity when people saw a design element in them. There have been some movements that we call Contemporary and which are divided into pop branches over time. For example, the chair, which was originally designed and produced to be used only for the sitting function, started to emerge with very different, fun and colorful designs with these trends. Of course, these designs are separated from each other by putting functionality into the background or protecting it. While reducing ease of use and ergonomics may seem wrong in ideal, the options for the user base have expanded. This has created great options for people who want to create a striking effect in their living spaces or create an energetic, lively and entertaining environment according to their own personalities and tastes.
